Raphia… Stories of a city that deserves to remain.

RAPHIA is more than just a name for coffee. It carries within it the story of a place that was once home, a place that left behind memories too deep to be captured in the name of a city alone.

The idea began with Rafah—a place where we lived the simple details of everyday life: warm, familiar, and filled with people, faces, and gatherings that, with time, became memories we could never forget.

As time passed, we came to realize that some places may change their appearance, and their physical presence may fade around us, but they do not necessarily disappear from within us. They remain in the way we speak, in the things we love, and in the smallest details that take us back to them without us even realizing it.

And from there, RAPHIA was born.

We chose coffee because it is more than a beverage. It lives within the details of our everyday lives—in a first meeting, a gathering with friends, a quiet moment, or a home where people come together around a single cup. Its aroma can awaken a memory, and its taste can become connected to people, places, and moments that may never return, yet remain with us.

That is why our vision was never simply to create coffee, but to create an experience that carries something of that feeling.

We carefully select our beans, create blends with distinct characters, and give each one a name and a story. MASIR, ATHAR, NASIM, LIQAA, WAED, WAJD, SUKOON… they are not simply names for our products. They are words that carry meaning, each opening the door to a different memory.

We want every sip to be the beginning of a new story, or a quiet return to an old one.

RAPHIA is our way of holding on to the things we love.

It is not an attempt to recreate the place as it once was, nor simply an echo of the past. It is an extension of what that place left within us.
